Max Update: most of his numbers improved, but some went up. We're going to continue with the kidney care diet (part purchased, part DIY) and a phosphate binder. He seems happy and not in any distress. We're just going to continue to monitor him on a monthly basis.

We got bad news today. Our sweet little furson has cancer on his heart that is inoperable. We will have to put him down, when it gets bad enough that he is suffering. This is my favorite picture of my little best friend. Our whole family is heartbroken
